Anthology worked with the National Fund for Workforce Solutions for more than 15 years. From its inception as a part of JFF through to a standalone and flourishing organization, our team helped the National Fund at each stage of its evolution.
Our work with the National Fund centered first and foremost on media outreach and coordination. We conducted weekly media monitoring across traditional news and social media coverage. Our monitoring tracked national and local conversations about workforce development and the many systems it touches. We also supported regular weekly media pitching to grow the National Fund’s profile. Our pitches covered everything from evergreen think pieces to targeted research and product launches.
Another key part of our media outreach effort centered on the monthly jobs report numbers. We ran monthly thought leadership pitching which later evolved into a regular live webinar discussion. The monthly State of Our Workforce event allowed the National Fund to grow internal thought leadership, provide a platform for partners, and served as a regular touchpoint with media contacts.
Our team also supported the National Fund’s thought leadership efforts through speaking engagements and speaker/media training. We created and maintained a database of relevant speaking engagements and conferences each year. We also held media training events as needed for National Fund leadership and supported any media engagement through talking points, tailored messaging, and more.
Throughout the course of the National Fund’s growth and evolution we also supported their outreach efforts through multiple communications plans. In 2016 we took a data-heavy approach to this effort and spearheaded a large-scale research project that included in-depth interviews with key stakeholders as well as a large survey of over 2,000 participants.
Anthology supported the National Fund through over a decade of change and growth by providing a high-touch approach to communications and media outreach.
