The major areas of expertise include:

  • At least three years’ experience with online marketing for nonprofits, including any or all of the following disciplines: email campaigns, social media, fundraising, and content marketing.
  • Development and implementation of online fundraising strategies, including management of communications calendars.

Qualifications:

Responsibilities:

Senior Account Executive:  Health Communications

The right candidate will have the ability to write a variety of content including articles, press releases and social media and have an understanding of generating compelling content for a variety of audiences. Experience with healthcare, health IT or training or change management a plus.

Specifically, the Senior Account Executive/Account Supervisor will:

  • Write, develop and distribute communications, including, but not limited to press releases, op-eds, columns, recurring and ad hoc issue-based updates.
  • Develop and implement communications and training strategies to include webinar series, online community management, stakeholder development and stakeholder outreach activities.
  • Develop talking points and corresponding visuals (PowerPoint presentations) and maintain an organized repository easily accessible to staff and for broader distribution.
  • Analyze and synthesize complex health or IT information for use by a variety of health care providers and consumers.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the client contact and manage client expectations, including developing, implementing and tracking measurements in line with program objectives;
  • Serve as day-to-day counselor to clients, converting a deep understanding of their subject matter into strategy and tactics that meet their objectives;
  • Draft high-level materials, communications plans and drive strategy and content for various aspects of project and tasks. Ensure that all written materials and correspondence are strategic and meet the client’s and account’s objectives;
  • Anticipate and develop solutions to client needs and problems;
  • Demonstrate an understanding of client service and urgency – responds to the client promptly.

Skills

In addition to the skills and experience detailed above, the ideal candidate will have the following:
