Strategic Communications

Connecting with the right audiences at the right time

The United States Access Board, an independent federal agency, promotes equality for people with disabilities through leadership in accessible design and the development of accessibility guidelines and standards. Anthology crafted and implemented a comprehensive strategic communications plan to raise awareness about their work – targeting audiences who included industry professionals, state and local government officials, and members of the disability community. Our team took a multi-channel approach – digital outreach, partner development, events, social media, and internal communications – to ensure messages were connected with the right audiences at the right time.

Public Health Campaign Development

Driving adoption through behavior change.

Telehealth expansion came fast and furious in 2020 for the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). The VA Office of Connected Care (OCC), an Anthology client for more than ten years needed to ensure that Veterans and its providers were able to deliver virtual care when and where Veterans needed it. Anthology planned and hosted hundreds of live events (trainings, webinars, Facebook Lives, etc.) and development of outreach materials to help drive adoption among providers, patients and caregivers of OCC tools and technologies. Anthology supported a 3,000 percent growth in telehealth that occurred post-pandemic, forever changing how thousands of providers deliver care and hundreds of thousands of Veterans receive care.

Outreach and Education

Building a network of community champions to educate and engage peers

The Amputee Coalition is the largest organization supporting the needs of the Limb Loss and Limb Difference Community. Anthology created a community outreach plan to re-engage the current Amputee Coalition community, build awareness of the community needs and engage new members. The plan centered on the development of a new program for education and engagement – the Ambassadors and Community Champions. The program created a new opportunity for those in the limb loss and limb difference community to share their own stories and learn from others’ who have benefited from Amputee Coalition resources and services.The program increased audience engagement by more than 107 percent when compared to the previous year.

PR and Media Services

Since its launch in 2007, The National Fund for Workforce Solutions (National Fund) has been a national network promoting economic opportunity, eliminating socio-economic disparities and building prosperous communities. Anthology executed an all-encompassing PR strategy for the National Fund, which included brand research and surveys, overall rebranding and message development, logo design and implementation. In addition, the communications strategy focused on relationship management, stakeholder outreach, and partnership development.The team secured media placements in ABC News, IndustryWeek, Wall Street Journal, New York Times, Washington Post, SHRM, Inside Philanthropy, Financial Times, Telemundo and numerous industry publications, highlighting the work of the National Fund and expertise of its leadership.
